I really love the promo art for this, fabulous. Onto the game design, the overall aesthetic of the game is really interesting. The blank eyes kinda creep me out, especially the mouse girl lol but I still like the characters, dark themes like this are cool.

I adore the look and concept of this, just how dark yet whimsical it is even without any colours or fancy brushstrokes. I'd love to give it a try; I'm just wondering if it has any jumpscares or timed choices type things, since it mentions time as being so important?

Ahh! No jumpscares or timed choices... Time is used more, hmm.. "symbolically" here? haha ^^;; I'm not sure how to explain! This is not a horror game so no jumpscares! Fairytales have a creepy but relaxed feeling about them, which was what I was going for! Hope you get to try it out!

Early playtesting sent us some suggestions so we added a "Hints" box in case you are stuck! More hints to be added in the future. If there is a hint you'd like to be shown in the game, or if you encounter any bugs, please let us know!

As always, you can download the demo here:https://fervent.itch.io/theblackbeastvn

Thanks guys!

Thanks Xerofit! Can you tell me which part of the game it crashed? Or did it crash on startup?

One thing that really bothers me is the menu text on the bottom of the screen. You know, the 'save', 'load', 'skip', etc? I know they're renpy's default menu, but the text in unreadable, at least for me. I suggest you change the font to something more readable. Other than that, the rest looks promising. Best of luck to you and your team!
