DemiDato officially has a finished script!
We're stoked to have hit 50k words (and slightly less stoked to start editing this big monster of a script, haha~).
Art is still coming along, we're working on sprites and our main visual at the moment. Excited to bring it all to you very soon!

We might have been a little quiet recently, but development is still humming along!
Our writing team are working on editing and revising our script, and we're also making some extra graphics to go with everything. Stay tuned for those!

DemiDato's demo recieved a little polish update yesterday!
Mostly quality of life changes (including a UI overhaul).
If you haven't played the demo yet, now is a good time to pick it up!
Our script is so SO close to being locked in, and we're still working away on the artwork! Watch this space ;D (and of course, our twitter for more frequent posts!)

Believe it or not, progress is still being made on DemiDato!
Unfortunately we lost contact with our old sprite artist, but we've since hired a replacement (@_yapsharlene) who is WONDERFUL and is making short work of our remaining art needs. She's incredible. Hire her please.
Meanwhile, I'm working a lot on coding bits and bobs, and getting everything ready to go once all the art is complete.
The end is in sight! We can't wait for y'all to be able to finally play <3

I'm really glad to see progress on this! DemiDato is probably one of my most anticipated VNs. ^_^

Just wanted to pop in and reveal that all of our sprites are officially complete!!
Our wonderful artist Shar made short work of the extra characters & expressions we needed done, and I can't wait to pop them into the game itself ;w;
(more peeps at her work on the DemiDato twitter!)
We've also started beta testing the rough version of the VN! so there's plenty of bug fixing and coding going on for us right now. We'll start on the final pass after our CGs are finished.

Long time no see, Lemma thread!!
After a long five (nearly six) years, DemiDato finally has a release date for the full version!
DemiDato is a comedy romance visual novel inspired by real-life dating shows with a tongue-in-cheek monster twist! 😈 There are TWELVE monster folks for you to date! (Yes! 12!), each with intertwining bite-size routes - the perfect length for streaming or playing over voice chat. Those of you that have played the demo will already know our grumpy host, Paul T. Geist (no prizes for guessing what variety of monster he is), but this time around you're playing as our nameable protagonist, a plucky human in a silly hood, on the show for real!
Make the choices your heart desires, and leave it up to the weird magic of reality TV to see who is your perfect match!
As a little thankyou bonus, you'll also be able to snag our exclusive OST and artbook bundle for tipping on the itchio page.
