Title: Guilty Parade
Game developer: Nozori Games
Estimated length: 20+ hours

Guilty Parade is an interactive Visual Novel with Point & Click elements. The full game consists of five episodes. The first one is presented in the free demo version (3+ hours of play).

You wake up in a completely unfamiliar place without any memories of yourself surrounded by hostile soldiers. What is that like?

The male protagonist gets a nickname Nemo and is forced to investigate a cruel crime in exchange for the Commander’s patronage. To solve the case, he joins the elite squad of soldiers and he needs to get the trust of his comrades in order to find the culprit. However, what if the murder hides even more secrets and solved mysteries will only raise new questions? Will his new comrades become his companions or enemies?

Image

► Two opposite sides of a military conflict
Nemo. A guy with amnesia. Under the Commander’s protection, he joins a squad of young soldiers to spy and then investigate a crime.
Lien. A child of war. He leads a completely different life in fear of being killed by black apostates and with desire to avenge the death of a dear person.

► Secret investigation of the mysterious crime and searching for clues
Find clues, make your choices and follow the story to find the culprit.

► Hybrid of two different genres: Visual Novel and Point & Click
In Guilty Parade, you can make important decisions and move independently around the camp, interact with objects and characters.

► The opportunity to build strong friendship bonds with quirky characters
The characters have a lot of unique features (both comedic and dramatic), habits and their behaviour is unpredictable.

► A lot of meaningful choices affecting scenes you get
Nemo will have to not only investigate the crime but also learn to live in unknown world and decide which side he is on in the military conflict.

All characters have an important role in Guilty Parade (like in many other games). We want to draw your attention to that you cannot start a romantic relationship with them but if you wish you can reveal more of their biography and personality (character profiles).
Hope you can like someone!

There are quite a lot of locations.
It is possible to move around the main building not through the map, but in a more interesting way. We are big fans of VN and appreciate when locations change frequently, so we want to fulfill all those desires in our game.

Image

Image

During the play you decide which side of a military conflict you want to support. At the moment there are 3 routes in the game, but the events based on your choices vary greatly. You should show great curiosity in order to get everything about everyone. We would also like to note that sometimes your mistakes will help to discover secrets and solve some riddles faster.

Now we're going to add information about every character.

Oliver
Perhaps the first impression of him is confusing, but Oliver isn't stupid guy. He is cheerful, optimist, you can always rely on him in a difficult situation. Oliver reads a lot, tries to analyze human relations, but he cannot always give a correct advice.
He is kind but his understanding of morals is very vague.

:!: By the way, today is his Birthday! Happy Birthday, Oliver!

I do love a good detective story~ And I think my favorite part here is the variation in the character designs and personalities. :) Looking forward to this one!

So, it’s time for brief news about Demo’s progress. Summing up wasn’t easy, as we need to take into account a lot of details.

The demo is getting closer and it’s as if the work doesn’t become less, but the variability and duration of the game itself grows (approximately 22K+ words for the demo only (!)).

You can look at our success in the picture. Figures are approximate. In the name of improving the quality of the game something may still be added or cancelled.

We have several more completed backgrounds! Their remaining number is rapidly approaching to 0 (for the demo). Only 1 CG is left and the rest ones are in process.
Also re-editing will begin soon.

Before releasing the demo we'd like to get feedback.
Please help us to become better by answering these questions:

1. What do you think about the concept of the game?
2. What do you think about artstyle and characters’ design? Who do you like the most and why? Who do you like the least and why?
3. What do you expect from the game? What would you like to see?
4. Please tell us your impression. Does the game look good enough to buy it or is there something we should improve? Have you any associations with other games?
5. Anything else you’d like to add or ask?

Feel free to ask us anything! And thank you for attention!

We are adding new features, animations, point & click elements, etc.

Last week all CGs, except the last one, are drawn, the backgrounds have the necessary variations and most of the game is already in the code!
