The nightmare is not over.

Kasumi Kawamura just wants to get through university while rekindling her relationship with her girlfriend. But not long after she arrives at school, a strange epidemic starts to infect the city, causing the afflicted to have terrible nightmares and lose the motivation to live their lives. Coinciding with the appearance of this "Nightmare Syndrome", an old wound that Kasumi thought healed starts to burn and cause frightening visions to those around her. Caught in the center of this situation, Kasumi and her friends try desperately to find a solution. Yet all the while, Kasumi wonders if she might be to blame...

• A horror/romance visual novel with multiple endings. Kasumi's decisions determine whether she finds a way to end the nightmares or succumbs to them. And even if Kasumi survives, she may damage her relationship if she isn't careful...
• Continue not only the story of Eldritch Academy, but also the story of the amateur paranormal detectives Shizuka and Yuri from the Shireishi anthology of short stories.
• A collection of bonus scenes taking place after the main story. See how the main characters recover from the ordeal and try to move on with their lives after the nightmare.

Demo

The demo consists of a large portion of Act 1, up to the scenes that include the first potential bad ending. Bonus features are not available in the demo version of the game, and there is no final audio in the demo version.

The game now has a Steam Store Page, which has been added to the top post. (The Steam page also has the same demo as the itch.io page, for those who prefer to stay in the Steam ecosystem but want to check out the demo.)

The game is nearing completion, with only a few scenes left to implement before doing revisions and final touch-ups. If possible, the plan is to do simultaneous releases on both Steam and itch.io. The itch.io release will also most likely include an experimental Android build of the game, similar to Eldritch Academy v2. The game also has a trailer now, which will be added to the opening post soon.

The game is planned to release with optional H-scenes, which may restrict the Steam version in certain regions. Information regarding this will likely not be certain until the time of release, due to the way Valve handles this type of content.

I'll try to provide more information on the release date once the last of the development process wraps up. In the meantime, let me know here if you have any questions about the game.

We have a release date: the game is planned to come out on Steam and itch.io on June 12th, 2020. Unless something big (like an illness or such) hits around then, the game should be available on that day.

In addition, I've set up a sale for Eldritch Academy on itch.io to run alongside the release of Eldritch University. It will be on sale for that weekend, with the current discount planned to be 50%.

Release date is this week! I'll probably do some final tests of the release build, but I'm fairly certain the game is ready to go. Is everyone ready to play it?
