Hello all! God Complex is a game I've been working on for a few years now and this year I have decided to hold a kickstarter for it! Soon I will release a demo, which will be free for everyone to play! I will release it this year along with the kickstarter, if circumstances allow. I'll be adding it to this post when it's finished. Many of the things necessary for the demo are already completed (See below). At this point, the only wait now is for artwork. I'm very excited to share this story with you, so I hope you'll tag along!

God Complex is a fantasy game that focuses on story with dark themes. Each character's route will have a good end and bad end, and its own themes, such as...
Dealing with inner conflict
Struggling with interpersonal relationships
Letting go of the past/moving on from tragedy
Finding yourself against societies pressure
And much more!



















Currently, a lot of people are in a rough state with recent events, so it might be held back for a while if things don't clear up soon so that everyone who wants to can support. I'd love to hear what your thoughts are about the game and answer any questions.

If the protagonist is female and pursuing male love interests, you'll want to use the GxB tag, not BxG. When tagging for type of romance, the first letter represents the player character's gender and the second represents that pursuable characters.

No problem! It's not something that's obvious until after someone tells you, I just wanted to point it out so that GxB fans can find your post more easily. (: I'm excited to see the female love interest! I like games where I can pursue both men and women. (I usually prefer the mix to be more balanced, but the plot of your game is really interesting.)

Hello!

This game looks very good and I love the designs of the characters. I particularly like Lucian and Elias - not saying the others look bad at all! Those two are just my favorite! The backgrounds look very nice and the story itself is interesting. I'm curious to see what Nora finds out about her past life, the two gods, and the whole universe! I'm very curious

I feel that you're on the right path for sure and I can't wait to see this game out! I wanted to ask too if you're considering voice actors to be apart of the project? If you are, I would love to audition in the future!

Hello! Thanks for the interest, it's really sweet to hear. <3 I'm glad you like the art and the story so far! I'll be sure not to disappoint. The universe is ever expanding, and with the characters, I feel I've definitely set up an exciting place to be.

As far as voice acting goes, it's something I'm planning for the game. I definitely would love to have someone who's interested in the game working behind the voice of one of the characters, so I will keep you in mind!
