Within the Spirit Maiden's Lands
Within the Spirit Maiden's Lands is a simple visual novel that's in progress.

While settling in, he notices a lone wolf occasionally coming into his yard, a friend from his home city phones to keep in touch and ask how he is, and he meets a spiritual maiden in the small, nearby town while he mingles with the townsfolk...

I had been writing a mechanical outline for this project in Ren'Py and was almost finished it. Then, just before I made this thread, I noticed that I accidentally corrupted the file. I was a little bit upset at first as you'd imagine, but writing it helped me get so much more of a handle on what I want this story to be and now I'm actually glad that it got corrupted: it was very basic and very fast-paced. It was very good for helping me gather what I want the story to be, but now that it's gone and I'm not tied to it - now that I'm starting a new script file and writing anew - things are feeling much more natural. :)
