With adulthood on the horizon, seemingly endless days of freedom are coming to an end, with one question still looming on your mind. So, just what does it mean to be in love? As the balance between your closest friends and the newest people in your life begins to tip, one final chance at an idealised, young love soon presents itself as these feelings begin to settle.
Thawing Feelings follows the lives of three university students as their past, present and futures become frosted with uncertainty, as a bittersweet winter affair is soon orchestrated."
Thawing Feelings will be a contemporary take on the traditional, romantic visual novel. The game will include a rich and atmospheric story paired with 18+ content many players have come to expect, to enhance character development and provide a realistic look at relationship and identity struggles during young adulthood.

Marie 'Chisaka' Cadwell (20)
As a passionate learner, Marie’s heart thrives with knowledge, but more so in that of her own friend’s happiness. Even with her cheeky side, and her half-English one too, Marie remains composed in the toughest of situations, letting her diligence be of good use.
As your close friend, Marie kindly offers her support in your studies, even if you don’t deserve it.
Ayami Yuuki (19)
Fresh to the system, Ayami takes her studies lightly, tending to focus more on the ins-and-outs of those she comes across. As upbeat as she may seem, her sensitive side isn't one to be toyed with either. With the facades of life ever overwhelming, Ayami finds comfort in the honesty of those around her.
Meeting you by chance, Ayami is soon fascinated by the quirks of her aloof upperclassman.

We hope to release Thawing Feelings commercially once development is finished, as we plan to self-publish for Windows, macOS and Linux.
