Hi everyone! My name is Julia and I'm in the process of creating my first visual novel, the title is Parallel Hearts which is an LGBTQ story about past lives and parallel universes, the plot is as follows:

The playable character, Billie Heubert, is a 19-year-old art student struggling to pay for their second year of art school. They decide to take a gap year to save up money and build their craft. Shortly after moving to the small town of Rivercrest, Billie starts to experience strange dreams and other magical occurrences. Not only that, but just about everyone they meet is a cute girl, each with their own secrets and stories. As Billie, the player can decide who to pursue, experiencing an array of heartwarming, tearjerking, and adorkable scenes. But be warned: Just like in real life, relationships take compromise and effort. Without an open heart, you are not guaranteed a happy ending.

Chidori Nee: A quiet farm worker with a love of animals and a distant demeanor, but has a warm heart
Kate Spring: An aspiring singer resisting rebranding by her label; humble but loves the limelight.
Iridessa: An ethereal seer with a mission to spread and promote love on Earth. She appears to guide Billie, but might long for something more...
Emilee Villee: Chidori's cheerful step-sister and another farm worker. Outgoing and sweet, but also impulsive.
Quinn Ostwald: A quirky art teacher with a perpetual smile on her face--but is she really as happy as she seems?
Xanthe Yamane: A mysterious forest-dweller with a magical aura and an intense fixation on Billie.

I'm posting this here not just to get publicity, but to get feedback. Of course we need the funding, but I'd also appreciate anyone who could read the updates posted on the kickstarter (particularly the ones on the character introductions) and answer the survey at the end. Who's your favorite character, just based on the intros? Who are you looking forward to meeting the most? What's your overall first impression of the game and its story?

I'm excited to announce that Elissa Park will be voicing Kate in Parallel Hearts! She's previously done some amazing voice acting work in games like Crush Crush and Lake of Voices!

Lastly, I wanted to go over the kickstarter rewards for the game. We only have one (1) reward left for the $50 tier, which includes the full game for free, the bonus content, as well as writing your own ending for the game. If that doesn't appeal to you, just the game and the bonus content are available at the $25 tier, with 6 spots left. (I may offer more spots on that tier if demand is high)

In terms of funding, we've been ahead of the curve most of the time, but it'll only be a couple days without donations that will cause us to fall behind. Please consider donating to Parallel Hearts and/or telling your friends about it; I have faith we can reach our funding goal!
