It’s only been a little over 3 days and we’re already 60% funded! We’ve also just hit 600 downloads for the Kickstarter alpha demo, which is incredibly exciting. We also sold out all our early bird rewards and some higher tier rewards. Last but not least, we hit over 200 Twitter followers yesterday, which we posted an image of Adrian (by our CG artist Bente) to celebrate!

Also, to celebrate being over halfway funded, we commissioned an art piece of Stephanie from the super talented mardamo!

At the moment, development is going slowly until we’re certain that we’re funded but we’re slowly working on the script. Jace’s writer Melli is currently working on the Jace x Stephanie route and Clara is working on wrapping up the final part of Adrian x Hazel’s route. We’ve got lots more drafts and edits to go through before either routes are completely done, but we’re getting there. As soon as we’re certain that we are funded, art development will resume progress again. Our next update here on Lemma most likely won’t be until the end of campaign/final hours of the campaign, when we’ve got more actual progress to show! That said, you can still follow us on our other social medias for smaller updates.

A lot has happened since our last update! We’re now not only funded on Kickstarter, but we’ve also met our first stretch goal and are getting close to our second! With 17 more days to go yet, we’re pretty hopeful we will be able to reach at least a few more stretch goals! Since we now have assurance we’re going to have at least our base funds, our artists will resume progress this week and we’ve also started editing the script for the full demo which we’re aiming to release before the end of this year. Hopefully, we’ll be able to share some more previews soon as well!

The other day, we shared the character sketches for two sprites which will appear in the full demo later on our socials and we figured we’d share them here too!

Meet the twins’ odd but lovable parents, William and Caroline! Caroline is a sunny house wife with an optimistic outlook on life while William is a slightly awkward but caring father and husband.

As for why the twins describe them as a little ”odd”, it will all be revealed in the full demo. 👀

The new demo is officially coming on January 22nd, featuring the full prologue of the final game + updated character art, more expressions and new side characters!

We've also updated our first post with the new character profiles. We hope you like them!

It's been forever since we posted an update here! If you haven't followed our other socials, we wanted to give a quick update here and say the game is still in development and very close to release. We've released beta builds for the game containing six out of eight routes and soon all eight routes, with Stephanie's upcoming beta release later this month.

If you're interested in checking out the beta, it's available on our Patreon.

The game also has a coming soon page up on Steam where you can wishlist it!

We'll be back with another update once the game is finally out. We're considering writing a post-mortem about our experience with Kickstarter and developing our first commercial visual novel, including our do's and don'ts for our next project. We might post that here as well, should people be interested. :D
