Synopsis
"Only one may remain..."
Who would have ever considered the unfathomable? Who would know to expect what is so horribly unexpected? Who dreams of disaster, envisions a complex nightmare before it unfolds in front of them? Not him. Not him, an individual with no reason to doubt his safety. Someone so average, so unassuming in such a vast world. Not him, one who had never been faced with true horror. Someone whose existence may as well have been unknown, who couldn't have possibly made a notable impact at such a young age. There was no way for Kostya Evanoff to predict what happened to him.
But, once it has happened, there is nothing that can be done. Once Kostya, just a regular person with a regular life, wakes up to find himself confined within a prison of extravagance and luxury, there is no way he can escape his fate. No way he can free himself from his captivity, flee from whatever force has taken him, locked him away inside a paradisiacal hell. A place of dreams and darkness. A castle. A castle, a mysterious location, in which he has no idea what he might find.
What awaits him inside of this strange structure? Who would have possibly taken him here, kidnapped him like this? And more importantly... Why?
All will be revealed throughout the winding course of this unconventional story of life and death, of hope and tragedy, of questions and, finally, answers.

Gameplay
Though this is a visual novel, we do try to make it as interactive as we can. Through dialogue options, menu choices, and floor maps, the player is given control of the protagonist, Kostya, in many ways, and is granted freedom to choose their own responses on many occasions, as well as where they would like to go and who they engage with. The prologue is not quite so interactive, as it is, as can be expected, mainly just an exposition, but several new features, such as the Intermission events, will be introduced in the first chapter, which is currently being developed.
