I love to draw and love dogs so I'm making this little visual novel combining both. I was hoping to make a sad dog game but with my drawing style it didn't turn out as I had hoped. I'm trying to do a game from a dogs point of view.
Concept or something
You will be following the life of a puppy from an unexpected litter. Her first 8 weeks of life was wonderful with all the attention and love from her family. After she turns 8 weeks old she is thrown in to a world she doesn't understand and what happens to her will depend on you.
Meet the puppy
When I was born it was dark. I couldn't hear anything or see for weeks. The only thing that I know was the touch of my mother and her warmth. For the first 8 weeks of my life my mother taught me and my brothers and sister the way of the world from what she know. For some reason she was trying to explain so many things within 8 weeks. Why would she do that? Don't families stay together forever?
Mother
Starting from day one mom had always taken care of us. She never bit us, growled at us, or even step on us.
Mom has a gentle aura about her. She talks to us softly,smiles at our ruckus, and when she's with master she behaves like a perfect dog, listening to his every word. I love her very much.
Cats
Momma says that cats are lazy and follows no orders... Take me with you!
Young Girl
I'm hungry, cold, and lost... Will you take me home with you?
About the game
- The side image will be of the puppy you'll be playing. Most of the time she'll be right there with some kind of expression
- BGs will be drawn so... they suck xD
- Multiple endings. Ranging from happy ending to death of puppy ending...
