Uhm... I would like to give your game a try but... the link you give us is the mac version. I cannot play it.
Can you upload a window version?

Has anyone tested it yet? I need it tested before going on the main page.

Most people can only play Windows distributions. You'll probably have better luck if you upload one.

Not really checking the forums any more due to time constraints, so if you want to contact me, PM. I'll get a notification and log in.
Also, I've been hit and run posting, which means I don't see many replies. If you want to respond to something I've said, also feel free to PM me.
NOTE: if you've got questions about vnovel or things like that, it's Leon that you should be contacting. Leon's been pretty much handling everything, but due to various reasons, I've had to withdraw entirely.

Re: Amy's Super Life needs a beta-tester now!(mac demo)
I guess I'm one of the few people here who owns a mac
I'm downloading the game now.
Edit:
Okay first off: were the game graphics made in mspaint or photoshop? The main title looks like it was hastily done in mspaint, while the characters look like they were done in photoshop, as well as the backgrounds. You might want to spend some time working on the graphics of the title screen because that's the first impression people will get of your game.
Secondly, I don't really think you need to have a narrator and give Amy internal dialogue. It's confusing to read. I'd also change up the colors of each character's name because right now they're all the default 'Eileen Green' and while reading I didn't even realize that a new character had shown up. Especially when Varina shows up. It would be good to have her the mc's friend on the screen at the same time. It doesn't help that the character's don't necessarily have unique 'voices' as of right now. Everyone reads as the same person. There needs to be more character in your characters! Take some time to flesh out the interactions between the main character and her friends and family.
There's also one or two spelling errors that pop up that are easily fixed with another read through.
Finally, for some reason the last scene repeats itself twice and the demo ends abruptly. I guess there's something up with the code. There's not a lot for the demo but it's not a bad start.

It is the very first demo. I plan on changing that title screen and we don't have a lot of spites yet. For now, I will look out for the spelling errors. I will also learn to change the color stuff.Nuxill wrote:I guess I'm one of the few people here who owns a macI'm downloading the game now.

Hm... are you interested in proofreading to then? If you want people to look at your code and point out specific proofreading things like "line 123 has an extra space between 'one' and 'two'" you might want to stick up the .rpy code. It's also possible to specify coding errors if there are any, since the person looking over the .rpy file could pinpoint the mistakes in the actual code. Another benefit of sticking up a .rpy file that is that anyone could check it out, since it wouldn't be an application built for one OS.
