New link. Missing image error...I have no idea how that got in 1.0. I must have deleted something inadvertently. Also, some fixes to the endings...I think I had them tallied the wrong way. Apologies! And more typo fixes.

Note: Even if you're not a BXB player, I'd appreciate if you could just install it and tell me if it actually opens and runs.

I'm still going to be reworking a few things before I release this to the "general non-VN playing public", as I like to call it, but this is close to the final version of Redux. When it's released elsewhere, it will be known as "THE DEMO" because that's pretty much what it will represent to new players of the game.

New stuff:
- a couple of CGs (including CGs you get for scoring high friendship points with Ian and Penny)
- a little CG gallery
- a tutorial, credits and shortcut screen,
- some other little changes
- Alex looks completely different

The story is what you got in the original, so if you've already played it and you're a Windows user, I'd appreciate if you just tried to install it. Someone is reporting a runtime error to me in Windows...I don't know if this is his computer or if it's all Windows users in general. Being on a Mac, it's tough for me to troubleshoot on my end.

This is built in the beta version of the latest RenPy, so your old save files might not work, sorry.

Any criticisms and suggestions are welcome. And of course, any bug reports.

Had to update again because of a game breaking bug. Sorry guys. New link above.

Windows here and it works fine.
I've only gone through it very quickly, but I really like Penny's CG.

...say, was Alex always naked in class? I can't remember...

My antivirus detected it as suspicious, but I managed it. I liked the old ending titles more, but I like that you have made new options for Mark. But I haven't gone through every possibilities yet. I will go systematically from now on. So far, I was pursuing the best ending.

Thanks for the feedback and checking it out, Arelune. Ha, yes, the original version had Alex shirtless, and then I didn't like how it was the second time around, and for this version I tried putting it back in. Not sure how I feel about it yet though.

To everyone:

I dunno if anybody's got any further comments, but this will be the version I'm using to see if I can interest the non-VN playing public. If you have any feedback on whether or not the game seems too hard or easy for most people, let me know.

I'd really like to keep working on some of the choices, but most of them are going to have to be changed for the longer version, and I have a week left before I launch this puppy.

Let me know if you've got any ideas or suggestions on easy things I can fix before I send Mark & company into the wider world.

In places outside of Lemmasoft, I'll be calling this a gay dating sim game, and not a visual novel, because I think most people have no idea what that means.

Thanks Kashya...you're right. I'm going to try and implement some more dialogue before I launch this to the rest of the internet...hopeful I'll be able to add some more color to the choices. They won't be full story branches...more like twigs and leafs for now.

Did you end up getting all the endings and open up all the gallery images? Did you see any problems with the new artwork that needed fixing?

FYI, at the moment I'm trying to get a video together for Kickstarter, so that's been taking up the majority of my time.

Make sure you have the latest version if you want the fourth image. (Use skip if you haven't already been...)
And use the walkthrough if you need help with the last image...the walkthrough has been updated.
