If possible I'd like to get some feedback on this game, because while some friends have tried the game, I'm concerned about any potential bias in their feedback.
I'd just like to know if A: The game story isn't cringe and B: The grammar is consistent and of course, if it's playable in general.
Anyway, here's a link to the PC version. I can upload for Mac/Linux if Necessary. (Mediafire stayed at 0 percent, not sure why.)
Here's the following synopsis taken from the official Union GameJolt page:
Inspired by the works of Junji Ito and H.P Lovecraft's horror stories, Union is a choice based visual novel set in the Australian town of Toowoomba.
Eddward returns to his family home, only to discover the town has been taken by a powerful and terrible force. He will uncover secrets and half-told truths that question the very origins of his home town.
As with other visual novels, dialogue drives the game onwards. Players will make choices on what to say, where to go, what to do resulting in five possible endings depending on your decisions.
Using a hand drawn art style with digital editing, Unions visual style accentuates a classic coming home story gone awry.
Return to your family's hearth, and discover the secrets and truths of Toowoomba. Then should you dare, face the unknowable darkness that lies at the heart of the town.
If I missed something or you have questions please feel free to let me know.
