POKEMON WORLD GAME!
--------------------------------------------------

Plot/Intro:

* The story opens with 18 year old (female main character) looking at a college/university application. Having just graduated High School, she's unsure what she wants to do with her life. Her older brother enters her room and criticizes her about her future. He is in the Pokemon Military and gets to travel all over the region and protect people. She responds by saying that the TV shows are misleading... kids don't just run around the region and catch Pokemon. Unless you join the Military, people generally go through 12 years of schooling, then either go to university or get a job. Sure, the Military seems like fun, but it's a dangerous job and many people die everyday.

The next morning, her mother returns home from her business trip with a present for (female main character). On the way back, she stopped at her parent's house (the main character's grandparents), who own a Pokemon Daycare. Due to their responsibilities, they were unable to make it to their granddaughter's graduation party, and gave the granddaughter a Pokemon egg as a gift!

Later that day, (female main character) decides to visit her friend's house. On the way home, when it's dark, the girl gets mugged by some gang members. As she tries to escape, the only thought going through her head is begging for the egg to hatch and the pokemon to save her... after all, that's how it always works in movies, right? Well, the egg doesn't hatch. She manages to escape with just the egg in her arms, but looses her bag and everything in it.

That night, she thinks about all the choices she could make in life... go to university, join the military, enter the work force, or join a gang. At this point, the egg also hatched and a baby Eevee emerges.

How will she shape her future?

--------------------------------------------------

PROGRESS:

So, I love customization in games, especially with your own character. Thus, my pokemon game will feature a dress up game that will determine what the main character looks like. The clothes chosen also influences how other people see you and perhaps various other aspects of the game.

I figure I'll try and release the dress up game as a demo/minigame/ separate on its own, because it will be a feat in itself to do so.

Here's the base/skin tones:

And here's the hairs:

Here's some of the clothes too... I think I'll have clothes arranged by sets. There will be different stores in the game that sell different types of clothes:

* The Dollhouse: Cute, Lolita, Babydoll
* Retrospect: Vintage, Rocker, Thrift
* Styx: Punk, Emo, Goth, Dark
* PL&H (Peace, Love, and Happiness): Boho, Natural, Exotic
* Pokepparel: Pokemon themed, Novelty
* Super Mart: Standard, boring clothes
* Mt. Silver: RP Clothes of famous Pokemon Trainers!

Furthering the player's custom experience, one feature at a time. x]

Hmmm, I'd have to go for either 10 or 12...maybe 6 if the character height is variable (Which I doubt, BUT you never know xD) That said, I'd like to see a Japanese hairstyle akin to the girl with the black hair here. I always felt that that hairstyle had a simple, traditional look to it. Could you possibly add it to your awesome roster? xP

And if I may make an inquiry, why do those bases have such noticeable abdominal muscles?

Haha, oh geez. Height would be an interesting and pain staking feature to add. :]

The link didn't work, so I can't see the hairstyle! Could you please post it again or find another pic that works...? I'm always really upset when there are no curly hairstyles (such as on the Sims3... :evil: ), so I always like to make sure I have enough styles to satisfy nearly everyone. :D

As for the abs... idk. I just figured she deserved a 6 pack, lol.

I love the idea of mixing pokemon with a dress-up minigame, it's like my favorite genres in one. Are you going to have any other poses? The amount of work could add up pretty quick.

What if you took out or shortened the vertical line on her abs? Like how the cleavage only has shading and looks more natural.

Hmm... that's a good idea. I'll give it a try!

I'd like to post some clothes later today as well... new details about the game have been/ are being added to the original post.
