It looks really nice, reminds me of art from the Atelier Iris series. Probably the hat, which they had a lot XD You should probably post future drawing on this thread only though, or go to the art dump thread. It's where everyone posts their art and you can get your feedback that way!

No it's perfect length. I'd say, more shorter ones would be cute（＾ω＾）
It's nice since the pose is dynamic. Drawing static waist-up figures isn't good for practicing. I was always practicing with dynamic full-body figures for pragmatical reason.
