Where does your inspiration come from?

I know every person, at this position I'm talking about artist, where does your inspiration come from when drawing? I know mine is from songs, that's were everything flows onto me, or sometimes looking at other artist, so what's yours?

Songs, poems, stories, the meanings of gems or flowers, and other artworks...
I draw from a lot of sources~
Like today, some children's drawings sparked some inspiration today.

where does your inspiration come from when drawing?

Everywhere. Songs, Poems, Walks, sounds, Ideas, dreams, Waiting for the bus, taking a breather from walking, Music, thing's I've read, things that has happened to me, thing I wish to happen to me, all from all over the place at random.

As dramspringfeald said, inspiration can come from anywhere !
Even so, mine mostly comes from random images that flash through my head, songs and talking with my friends~.

Inspiration usually comes to me when I brood on my leather chair while I stare at the logs kindling in my fireplace.

Okay, I can't afford the fireplace or the logs or the chair yet, but it's definitely when I brood/ponder pretentiously deep things. Sometimes from music too, but very rarely and usually nothing comes from it.

inspiration... actually, I barely think of it. I know I have no talent on art, but logic. Only thing I can is just watch fine arts, analyze and composite them. So if I pick one word, analyzation is nearly equal to inspiration.

I'd also say from anything, like for example from music, that's my best source of inspiration, other stories, your life, or even an object. I mostly listen to music and the designs just come to me. When I watch someone else draw, it makes want to draw too, and I get inspiration. Or I just wanted to draw a character with headphones, and got a whole design out of some headphones XD. It can seriously be from anything.

My inspiration comes from books, movies, games, pretty much anything with good writing that I have read. My artistic inspiration comes from canvassing museums for design-related paraphernalia. Of course, my SPONTANEOUS inspiration mainly comes from music. I listen to a lot of video game music and often find myself imagining scenes that could have the music as a backdrop.
