http://majnouna.deviantart.com/ has an amazing array of tutorials on figure drawing and racial features. It's well worth looking at.

Oh I remember these! The artist used to go by the username Cedarseed. I forgot that DA gives you the option to change your username now. I have them saved to my computer. :D They're a great starting point.

FOERVRAENGD has some beautiful tutorials - namely, the "Understand Anatomy" and "Manga to Realism" series.

Ah, it's great seeing people share useful tutorials on this thread ^^ It hopes newbies like me a lot.
