@Midnighticequeen and SusanTheCat: Thanks. It's actually based on NDS games. The VN itself is linear and quite short, but it does have an interesting premise. (Inspired by a video tweeted by sake-bento.)

So, I thought it was time to post some of the things I drew when I should have paid attention in school or studied.



This one's relatively old. And by that I mean I drew it sometime last year.
The next one is a little chart or whatever to show the progress I've made in the last half year or so.



The newest pictures are a part of my current project that I may or may not attempt to do. So basically I'll work on it until I lose interest in a few weeks. xD
At least it's a good exercise.^^

It's an OC meme I did and I think it's pretty obvious what I enjoy drawing the most...HUNKY HALF-NAKED MEN. (very curious indeed, considering I tend to appreciate the female form more than the male one...)

Oooh that is a lot of progress in the last year or so, Bellice. Especially in colouring. I love the warm, smooth shading of the hair on the last picture there. Also the detail and smooth, flowy lineart of the hair is dazzling.

Eeeeh if I were to backlog and try to comment on everything flagged as 'new' I'd be here for a while, since I am new and all the posts are new to me. Other than that, feel free to critique.

I'm used to simply drawing... I am not used to working with vectors, but this is my most recent attempt (out of five over the course of my life). My sister has already complained about her breasts being too low.



By the way, that's the girl from Secret of Mana. Yes. I'm old school.
This was done in CorelDraw X3. Why they didn't label it as all roman numerals, I will never know.

I tried MyPaint that someone referred to in the NaNoRenO thread, and it really does have the effect I'd hoped: My perfectionism shushed up for a moment there.


...Also, I am starting to resent this character of mine because he is SUCH a meta-attention ho. I could have finished writing chapter one of my Mary Sue x Sparkly Supernatural Prettyboy story by now if he hadn't suddenly hijacked my imagination again.
...Um, and I forgot a few details that he usually prefers to have in that form, e.g. hand-mouths, but if he steals any more of my time I am going to smack him. (Somehow.) And I'm starting to wish he hadn't read so much Lovecraft as a child in the first place. Why can't he be a NORMAL shapeshifting-mad-scientist-reincarnated-in-a-pocket-universe?

...I wonder if Mary Sue herself would mind being drawn the same way in MyPaint. She'd probably loathe me for using "imperfect" art for someone as rainbow-tastically flawless as herself and try to cut her wrists in a fit of all-consuming angst. There, there, Mary.
