I really like your hair highlights! They aren't too soft but are prominent enough and still blend in well.
Whenever I try making highlights like that I fail because it looks shitty/doesn't fit. How do you make those without them looking out-of-place? I am so envious xDDD*pending signature, as in, I don't have any if this signature doesn't allow any 100px high images TAT*

Mission of the day: Draw an older character, and make him/her
appear his/her age.
Result: Success (I think)
- Character age: 36
Spent a couple of hours trying to make his face appear more "gruff" and mature. Also, I'm getting better at drawings hands. (hooray!)

Oh my O__o I never expect anyone to say that about my arts, thank you! Actually, I'm just using brush and the eraser tool in SAI. Nothing more than that honestly.
If it might help I have the tutorial that I'm using as a guide. You can have a look as well, it might help you.

Oh thanks 8D I know I have that tutorial saved somewhere but never quite got the hang of it (and gave up earlier xD). GOTTA TRY AGAIN WHEN IT ALWAYS YIELD SO NICE RESULTS so thanks for directing me back to that~

@Nekomiira that drawing... is absolutely amazing!
Anyways this is all I've got at the moment. A quick sketch that I did to show my artist what I want my character to look like, lol. Completed in all of 30 seconds. :B
