GRARR I made this about four hours ago at my friends house... I had just finished reading volume 1 of Q-Ko Chan, if that explains anything...

EDIT: Also I highly doubt my "style" could be considered anime at all. I guess it's KIND OF in the style of the FLCL manga. Oh, and Q-Ko Chan(same artist) so that might explain it a bit. But it's really not very ANIME/MANGA style at all.

been a while. Here's a new one from me. I finally figured out how to make the lines look like they were drawn with a tablet without a tablet.

Nevermind the background. I just felt like putting something there.

How do you make your games? I see. Thank you for the prompt replies, but it is my considered opinion that you're doing it wrong inefficiently because I am a perfushenal professional. Do it my way this way and we can all ascend VN Nirvana together while allowing me to stroke my ego you will improve much faster. Also, please don't forget to thank me for this constructive critique or I will cry and bore you to death respond appropriately with a tl;dr rant discourse of epic adequately lengthy proportions. - Sarcasm Veiled in Euphemism: Secrets of Forum Civility by lordcloudx (Coming soon to an online ebook near you.)

Mugenjohncel: shh....

F.I.A.: those two characters in the red and blue outfits would be the munaks found in Payon's dungeon.

I played a little.

I'm loving this new inking technique. Here's another one. Credits to Richard for the basic sketch.

Mugenjohncel: Cool! And I love the shading on that latest pic. You gotta teach me how you do the colors for her clothes sometime. Also... we need a good title. :D

My new logo just to stay on topic.

COOL!!

That picture is awesome, I love the outlines. Rare is the time that I see a CG background and a drawn sprite intermixed flawlessly.
I'm not even the same person anymore

warning, some nudity

Posting to show off because I spent a lot of time trying a new shading idea with huge amounts of blur and dropshadow and I think it came out really nicely.

Looks nice indeed ^^. Are the lines blurred too or is it an illusion ?

The lines were faded slightly and drop-shadowed before resizing to final, so they come out softened without the fat ugly look that usually happens if I try to just blur the lines.

Wow, it's so crisp and clean, like a screenshot of an HD anime :D

If you don't mind my asking...

- do you use vector graphics?
- what resolution do you work at?
- how long did that take from start (sketch) to finish (final CG) in hours?

- my style is a cross between raster and vector =) .. output is raster though
- 300 dpi (standard)
- 3-4 hrs
