Thank you I used to love fairies when I was younger, but her hummingbird design was really refreshing to draw.

Also, I'm sorry, I'm slightly obsessed. Shhhhh. And I have no idea why I keep giving everything a grey background. On an artistic note, I tried to stick closer to the movie’s style. It’s a really great learning experience.

Ahhh, it's been quite some time since I've drawn for myself, so this was quite fun. I was loosely following the one layer by namface on tumblr.

Haven't quite figured out the kinks of this style yet, but a change is nice every once in a while.

So, I'm pretty much doing nothing but character sketches nowadays, and schoolgirl characters are pretty much the most unoriginal types of characters, but I can't help it! TT__TT I frickin' love school uniforms, I wish we had them in Denmark~ Anyway, I guess I was just bored and did somethng quick and turned it into coloring/shading practice

In my opinion, yes! I would totally ignore the trailer, it's a really bad representation of the movie. Most of Dreamworks trailers are I don't know how you fail so badly at them when there is so much good material, but there you go. I did hear that they didn't want to put Pitch in there because they thought he would scare the kids... which makes no sense since he's in the movie. I'm pretty sure that Dreamworks has moved from Paramount to 20th Century now though and the trailer for The Croods is way better structured so there may be hope for them still.

In my opinion Rise of the Guardians is a better film than Wreck-It Ralph. Don't get me wrong, it still has its flaws and really chessy moments, but there is so much heart and honesty with the story and characters. Jack is a better misunderstood hero and Pitch is a way better villain. It's also so refreshing to see new takes on such old characters, even if a tattooed Russian Santa got some American undies in a bunch. And don't get me started on the particle animations. But yeah, definitely worth seeing at least once. It's a film for your inner child... or artist XD

LateWhiteRabbit - Yeah what Auro-Cyanide said, the movie was amazing! A lot better than just the trailers let on. I heard the books were even better so I'm curious about them now. I loved the story and characters so much.

Auro-Cyanide - So much fanart! You have some really good ones of Jack and the Tooth Fairy came out nice too!

Now I feel like posting mine since I finally finished it ^^;




And this one is just a chibi crossover with Sandman and Jackfrost and my ocs but it was fun. Sandman was my next favorite.
