I am strangely in love with this picture. I was playing around with Vue: Pioneer, ComiPo!, FotoSketcher, and Gimp and this came out the other end.

The sprites took about 10 min each. The background took about 20 min. Then post-processing took about 5.

Not the greatest artwork, but good enough for a prototype.

I'm practicing new style of coloring, and I would say I'm actually kinda satisfied with the result turned out in the picture.

I started doodling ideas for sprites, and then there went my whole day~ They only have names and personality's right now... I have no idea if I'll actually use them in a game, and if so, a BL or otome game? Oh well, it was nice practice.

Don't look too closely at it the shading sucks.

But man how do I draw a straight line with a tablet? I figure that drawing with the vector pen and adjusting it later is alright, but that's time consuming and I have to use the mouse to move the points. Stabilizer isn't helping much, I guess I just have to develop a steady hand...

I think in most drawing programs you can make a straight line by holding down shift and making points with the pen. (The line will begin wherever your pen last touched the canvas)
