Yay, so it's holidays again and I finally have the time to spend here after the hiatus I was on :'D
I managed to analyse and experiment for weeks as well and I finally have the chance to use them on my art and for a warm up, here's a not so well done Nagisa which nearly rendered me into tears twice due to my computer dying on me |D

Pretty sure that I've done something wrong but it's so late and I have to wake up in another 2 hours ^_^;
(And yes, I don't know how to draw water :'D)

EDIT: Yep, definitely knew something was wrong. Replaced it with the new one to hide my shame and my grammar oh lord "OTL

A WIP I'm doing. Still trying to understand angles and perspectives. In know there are book and many guides online that I could use, but I'm terrible at following guides. So I just keep doing it until it starts to feel right to me.

Here's an embarrassing photo of something I took like... 2 hours to sketch, no joke. FML
I wanted to live with it and outline it on Photoshop or something, but the pen tool is impossible to understand and my lack of a tablet isn't helping.
I've been trying to outline it with my mouse, but ugh, it looks even grosser and I'm not making any progress.

@Lemonscent: it's cute, your drawing reminds me how I drew a year after starting ^^ and you're right, Photoshop is kinda hard to use without a tablet I mean, I did redraw an entire character on photoshop, you know, just to try. Yep, it was hard and ugly. Yep, I gave up but maybe you shouldn't, in the end, it's manageable (with time and luck), and the drawings end up in something quite nice to see (at least I hope) Good luck!


I don't have my computer right now unfortunately, I don't have my scanner, so here is a photo of a WIP ^o^

She looks a bit strange, but I hope to correct the mistakes with Photoshop, don't worry (the wings, her left foot, the bone... Too many mistakes )

Aaw thanks hahah XDDD It's just the eyes, I always feel like they look like 2 different sets of eyes put together XD But I did try extra hard to make them look matching this time

Gotta say, that was quite fun to make, and it sure trained me since I never draw animals neither landscapes...

So...... I immediately had an art block after finishing the last picture of Nagisa and I decided to quickly break it and draw another simple fanart of Free!
Damn, I'm starting to doubt my art and reconsider making anymore more art for VNs. Self-esteem, you're doing it completely wrong ;A;

Nero, your art is so pretty though! ;___; It looks so professional and clean. If I were looking for an artist to collab with (though I only have art to offer in exchange since my writing is deplorable), I would totally be making grabby-hands at your art right now. You should be ultra-proud of your art.
If I weren't doing this for a print run for the con this Saturday, I would have already given up a long time ago. / cries / Darn it, Ouran High School Host Club. Why do you do this to me?
