Someone mind telling me where I went wrong with this ;A;

WHAT HAVE I CREATED?

From what I can see, the arms are to long. The elbow should be at breast hight. For the pose and angle the breasts should not be visible. All you should see of the arms is elbow to wrist. I think that the legs may be to long....

@Ekamu: the creative blockage was more reffering to me not being able to come up with new characters atm, so I've been drawing "people i know irl", only manga-fied XD Well, they're not supposed to look frightened, more like "surprised" >__> Maybe the word "excited" fits what I was going for a bit more. Something á la these pictures

Not sure if you heard this or not, but comparing your drawing to those references, I think the main reason why they looked so surprised was because there was such a huge gap between the top lid and the pupil. There's very little gap for Rapunzel's, even in the one where she's falling with her hair (It's just enough of a gap to show that she's looking down).
(Sorry about raising the contrast, I was trying to make it easier to move the eyelids down without making it obvious, haha.)

Oh yea, I totally see that! I feel like I'm getting worse at drawing manga eyes every time I try, I can't even tell what exactly is wrong hahahah XD I at least hope that it was as simple as just lowering the top eyelid ._.

Trying to practice what I preach and push myself to do something that I usually avoid. That being, BACKGROUNDS.

Oddly enough, I've been able to jump this hurdle and CG a semi-decent BG with characters in it, wow. Next, I'm gonna try a scene taking place in an interior! It's not done yet of course, but I'm getting there. I'm just glad I found a technique for tree trunks I feel comfortable with. (Feel free to crit the BG esp. it's been a long time since I managed something on this scale and I plan to do more in the future.)
