Commissioned piece, 'In Europe There Was Fire' (Yeah yeah, it needed a name for dA, okay!?) I ended up doing a lot more paint over than I usually do... Though since I normally do basically no paint over, I guess any increase is 'a lot'. Too bad I don't have a tablet yet.



For anyone interested, here's the raw 3D render. If you open the full size versions of 'em in separate tabs you can compare the difference the paint over made.

Here was another Ren'py & Sprite ideas...to add to the "Art Dump" was gonna be a quiz type. I don't think i would be able to pull that off xD I drew different body sprites... kinda like based on animal crossing/powerpuff girls.

Looks cool, tiya. I guess I'm just a sucker for monochromatic art recently. Maybe it'd like good if you isolated the bright areas (like where the direct sunlight is) and blurred it a tiny bit, then screen it over again... if that makes sense. Like a bloom effect.

Edit: Incidentally, I did a slight rework of a classroom BG I made a while back. I was talking to a friend today about how the original seemed kinda flat to me. So I tried to rectify it in addition to tweaking colours and really minor painting:
