Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
So I tried to lineart traditionally;
All the Pretty Flowers and Tira from A Very Splendid Otome Game (which I hope you guys don't mind haha ^^;) I could scrap them out if you want so do tell me!
Going to fill up the page later so let me know if anyone wants their characters being used as guinea pigs for my practice \o/
I also drew The Child from Going to fill up the page later so let me know if anyone wants their characters being used as guinea pigs for my practice \o/

Partly. I painted the basic colours / shading, but there's also part of a photo I took and some PS cloud filter in there toocrestforge wrote:@Tempus Did you mouse-paint the clouds too? That's some mad mouse skills man, you should definitely get a tablet. Good job! (And Radiant Historia, what a great game! ^^)

\o/ Thank you and no problem! It was fun drawing The Child, I might draw them(I hope I'm using this right, please correct me if I'm wrong) tons of times because I really like their simple character design c: And what are you talking about? I really dig your art, the style's pretty unique!Hazel-Bun wrote:*combusts into flames* Amg nice work! Whoa! 15 minutes is pretty fast for a colourful sketch like that! *A*tiya_nofurita wrote:Again, bump XD 15 minutes speed painting challenge with one layer. It's my first time and damn it's hard XD]
Anyway, I've been getting back onto Visual Novels because of reasons... óvò
I'm trying to figure out how to sprite again! It's a bit hard because I'm not able to make groups/folders in any of my programs...

Methinks my sprites have gotten a little better.
I'm finally getting the hang of women, I think...
The best reason to get up in the morning is to outdo yourself: to do it better than you've ever done it before. But if you haven't done it better by nightfall... look at your globe and pick a spot: it's always morning somewhere.

Thanks. It's one of the rule of speed painting challenge. I did my profpic on 5 minutes too lol.Shalambay Shift wrote: Whoa! 15 minutes is pretty fast for a colourful sketch like that! *A*
Your shading is eye catching! As for suggestion, maybe her eye's placement need a bit adjustment because it kinda looks un-symmetrical...I think.Shalambay Shift wrote:Anyway, I've been getting back onto Visual Novels because of reasons... óvò

Gear: Wow you're so good on anatomy and proportion! *and then save your pic as my reference

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
I've been concepting some characters for a VN/RPG I want to work on, and have pretty much been using this character to practice lineart/shading.
I'll probably change the design quite a bit, but at least I have this picture done (except for the feet. screw feet.)

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
Among other things, I think it would be interesting to do a VN with Nendoroid photography. I'd photograph characters and backgrounds separately so sprites could come and go. I played around with poses and green-screen photos with Iron Man last week. The background here is one of NYC I got from Wikipedia and did some simple processing on, but my ultimate plan would be photographing my own backgrounds, too. I have a Nendoroid-sized school room and other accessories. (I wouldn't be doing Iron Man either; I just used him because he's easier to pose than some.)
