@Darksin, that's a cool looking map! Maybe a bit dull on the colors/light though. A simple "spotlight" with a giant soft brush could highlight a point of interest in your image. See Project Phoenix's environments.

Ah thanks. Project Phoenix uses 2D illustrations for their environments, from what I can tell. I was going for realistic lighting and effects
But it's true, this was mostly an experiment. I will probably rework this in the future. I'll also most probably be adding some more prominent structures to the map.

Thanks I could, yes, but the reason I even made this map in 3D and added much detail was because I'll need to use this scene later on for renders from different perspectives and animations that will be included in Violet Hill.

Thanks! And that character illustration looks nice. I'm really poor with character feedback ^.^ Also, yeah that's a good thing with 3D -- being able to render different angles of the same scene.
