I do the same kind of thing, scout. Heh. Maybe I'll post some of my doodles about later.

And nice Christmas card, yvanc.

Ara ara, you're making me blush... -^^-

Oh and Mikan, I can't wait for your game! @_@ That's really some commercial quality, no, it must be higher than the average commercial one! I hope the game isn't going to be commercial though, because if it is, I'll not be able to play it. Your pictures just look so clean in both lineart and colouring, and they've got a delicious contrast too.

A little preview for our Rena project, the sprite sketch with a speedy colouring:

I've been playing around with a potential quick-and-fun project recently, testing out backgrounds in a style I'd not tried before...

...And the same thing, only rendered in actual pencils and inks on watercolour paper instead of trying to get Painter to be messy...

The real-media one was quicker to do, and looks a lot closer to the source material's artwork, but... hmm. I'm not entirely sure it would work so well as a VN BG. :/

A case study to learn texturing in Blender. Render in Yafray, it almost an hour. O.o;

A bit dark but nice nonetheless ^^. Are you aiming for realism or will you go with a cartoony/paint texturing?

I am hoping for a little bit of both, kind of like how they did with Team Fortress 2.
