I tried my hand at sketching and drawing on paper today. I normally do everything digitally, but this was a lot of fun.

I edited it in photoshop, because I originally drew them nude.
It feels nice to draw on paper though!

And a colouring test that turned out pretty well.

Still learning sachiko umoto's style. It's simple enough that I can learn vector programs at the same time =)

Because it's New Years and also Haru-chin's birthday, I doodled something. I've learned my lesson once again. Don't draw too small when you have a large canvas you can take advantage of. Small things are hard to get precise and nice especially when you have a tablet that's kind of... not so great. Haru-chin ended up looking weird...

I don't draw as often as I used to anymore... Hopefully, this year will be different.
Here's the last two I did for 2014. I got more lazier and my style became much simpler. I don't know if it's a good thing or not. :/

It is good as long as you feel comfortable with it. Sometimes, though, the path to your style is not the easiest way, so you could keep practising new styles, studying photo references, BGs, anatomy, composition, etcetc and all that stuff. Please don't give up on drawing you are a great artisttt, you have potentiaalll go onnn ´q`!!!.

Everyone I know said the new style is a downgrade but I like it and it's really easy to do in my part. I don't know what happened but I got a lot of commissions and requests at the start of the year so maybe it's not that bad after all...

Holy wow, feels like forever since I've inked something Need to get back in the swing! This is a WIP I'm doing for fun as a bit of a warm up to CG crunch time I guess.

i've mostly been trying to animate or make things move, it's very hard to get the image to look "exactly" the same asi first drew it... but oh well. If Ren'py and Flash were to ever merge... that would be the day ♥♥♥

Funny story... you can use "Flash" like a map when using Ren'py for your X and Y coordinates. All you have to do is make sure the base's are the same size, and if you plan on adding say an animation, you could use Flash as a base to help you with the X & Y by placing out all the images in Flash first, then it will be alot easier to animate something in Ren'py if you weren't to use the ATL.
