Ooh, I see there's been posted some nice (and funny stuff recently). :)

Sakurazaki: That guy looks really determined!
risingbamboobanana: Wow, I really like your coloring style a LOT.

It's been a while since I posted something here.. soo. Here we go. It's fanart though:

I tried a different way of coloring this time, so opinions would be very much appreciated. Also, if something seems off, don't hesitate to tell me. ^^

Must be what happens when you start falling deeper and deeper into the dark side... >_>;

edit: I better post something since I've only been posting off topic spam in this topic ever since I got here. XD
Holy ....
That's awesome! How did I missed something like that?

Man... It's day three and I'm STILL not finished...

But it certainly is getting there. :3 Mmmm... I think some X-shaped wings should make it look cooler. Not to mention, I haven't finished adding all the weapons and engines yet. >:3

It kills my computer whenever I try to render this...

Wow that looks awesome Samu-kun! I love how you can make it look like it was drawn :D (Yeah I know, it's nothing new, but still)

(Personally, I think it look pretty cool the way it is; huge wings on capital ships are nearly always functionally pointless, since they're typically never going to be used in an atmosphere...)

Pardon the ridiculousness of aiming for realism on a spaceship, but the row of miniguns on the tiny wing near the bottom.. They should be on the underside of the tiny wing.. As it is, the bigger turret will be obstructing their line of fire.. :P

Aerodynamic wings will be generally useless on a spacecraft. But many spacecraft (for example, the International Space Station) use large, flat radiators to reject excess heat into space.

Honestly, the middle section kinda reminds me of the Omega-class destroyer from B5. I'm half-expecting to see something spinning to produce gravity.

I want to suggest trying to tweak the celshading ^^;... I can't pinpoint exactly what it is, but it makes "reading" the ship shape harder as it is (maybe the blurry separation between light and shadows).

Samu-kun, I've been wanted to ask...
How much science do you want to use in SunRiders?
Like the spaceships, will people floats in the ships (enabling the space efficiency)? Or they magically stick to the ground? Or there is a gravity generator 'thing' stick to the ship (things that always spinning but I think it's a bad idea for warship).

BTW, I've made this new picture. This supposed to be my Avatar but I have no clue how to upload an avatar. I made this as GIF but the animation is screwed up (it's OK in my PC though).

EDIT:
Fixed version, added background to eliminate stretching problem.

You'll notice not everyone gets a comment everytime. It doesn't mean it sucks, just that people either missed it or didn't feel they had anything to say or add about it :)

Yup, I barely ever get a response, apart from in the deeplake section, but that doesnt stop me!
Though ive not been in here for a while so ill give you a comment if you want one.

I see you've gone for the soft shading which looks nice but maybe around the collarbone it could use a little more definition to make that bit look slightly more defined. The colour scheme its also nice with the blue clothes and red scarf matching well with the purple backround which mixes the two colours. I also like the linework for the scarf thingy creases but as with the collar bone I think the shading could be a bit more defined in that area.

Great work though, much like any I comment about on this forum.

Ah.. I see, I see. ^^' Sorry for acting selfish.

It's just that I'm quite desperate for constructive criticism at the moment.. but I don't really get a lot of it. Guess this was the wrong place to look.. I should have realized but I didn't. Again sorry. ^^'

Samu-kun: Wow that sure is something.. I assume you created it in a 3-d program? I don't understand those at all. I do especially like it from the top view.

Sapphire Dragon: Hmm, okay. I'll try taking that into account next time. Thanks~
