I'd like to say this is my first attempt at speedpainting, but I'm not sure 3 hours qualify as 'quick'.
So it's just a little pleasure painting in between studying.




...it's supposed to be an overgrown forest. (And yes, the 'overgrown' part was added because I couldn't manage anything else.)

I bought a tablet on an impulse, so now I no longer need to scan in traditional drawings. I'm quite chummed with myself, being able to work layers and such. Ho-hoh-hoh. Next step is actually getting anatomy right.

Relating to my grandfather's funeral, my family released white balloons.
And so I drew this.

i discovered the magic of 0.3mm mechanical pencil *_*
so much easier to do details on my sketch
drew the 'harvest king' from the "harvest moon- animal parade' game X]
really went overboard with his hair but omg - i love my new pencil XD

down side of marrying this guy in the game....i want to stare at him all day and not do any work XD

I'm working on some concept stuff now. It's a very fun and sometimes very frustrating process. I had sooooo much trouble getting the face right.

@ auro-cyanide - I like drawing hair XD so that's not a problem. My patience is limited when it comes to colouring OTL I envy how prettily u colour and how quick u do ur projects

@RunicV - how I draw hair like that?...eh well..^^' light sketch outline of hair then darken strokes after? Also add lots of lines and swirls. Not sure what I'm saying at all OTL but I do love drawing hair X)

Anyways, first attempt on painting! It looks bad, I know, I'm never really good in anything OTL
Though on the bright side, I finally got to lose control of my hand with the hair here since very messy hair in other styles comes out as just messy ^^;



And yes the background is hardcore cover girl-ish. Listening to Star World's commercials' background music does that to you xD

I'm going to say it's because of scarce free time. The less free time you have, the more stuff you have to do in a short amount of time. It's a good way to be motivated XD
