Being down with some nasty cold and not feeling like programming or writing much, I resorted to some 3D rendering with DAZ Studio. The result is ... rather generic, but I like it enough to show it off.



No postprocess or anything like that, straight from the default renderer. Only non-free products used are Aiko 5 and Visual Style Shaders, and both more for convenience (... as in, "I have it already, I might as well") than because there could be no free alternatives.

gah! multi poses! i'm too lazy to even try different bases (that and my coloring sorta varies...really should learn how to cell shade properly...) the most i'll do is - same body, differentt arms >_>' which resulted in a lot of layers for different clothes.... please tell me there's an easier way. whyy do u makke things seem so easy auro Q_Q - ur art is so diverse

@Armee, yes indeed

@15385bic, haha, this is only the second time I've tried doing full on pose changes for a set of sprites, and I'm mostly doing it because Athena has a fairly small cast and each character only has one outfit. Though I do want to do the same thing with Swan Grimoire but with more in the way of outfits and that, so I'm treating this as practice.

Generally I only do arm pose changes as well. I usually just detach the arms from the body so I can use the torso as the base. It's useful to commit and merge layers when you are done since it's a lot easier to deal with the layers. In the case where the characters change outfits, it can get pretty messy though XD So many layers.
