Well, the only thing I can say is the arms are too thin and the hands are sketchy to tell if it's correct or not. It does seem like the fingers other than the thumb are too short.

@TheGuraGuraMan I'd have spit whatever I was drinking if I were right now. That "my wife" band in Ymir's head was too much. Great drawing by the way, Lumen!

Did this for a friend who's going through tough times, it's Ai from Kaminai/Sunday Without God. Let's not mention how much I raged reading the light novel since I'm pretty happy with the coloring.

Oh well, I'm in holidays, far from my comp'/photoshop/tablet, forgot like a boss my color pens, so I can just sketch. GREAT.

So here is a fanart of Jojo's bizarre adventure Part 6 : Stone Ocean, that's one of my favorite scene, such great characters :( Totally botched Jolyne's (the bottom girl) body tough... I'll clean and color it later.

I like your sketches Hijiri. I think your characters look like they have more height now and varying body type, it's a great improvement from your previous work. They got real swagger. :D

Here's a fanart I drew of Flandre Scarlet of Touhou Project.

Please tell me what you think about it, ty.

Updated: Is my lineart getting any better?

Added colour, need to clean the image later.

@alberte: to save yourself time on cleaning your image after you color it, you need to improve your lineart. While you have nice thin lines, it still looks like a sketch as opposed to a clean lineart.

As a fanart, it's pretty okay, but you got the details of Flandre's collar wrong. You added in unnecessary scribbles within it when the ruffles are supposed to be on the edge. The shading with lines for Flandre's stockings are also unnecessary because you could have described the form when coloring.

Overall, I think you just need to take more time cleaning up your lines and coloring instead of trying to work too fast.

Sometimes my lines don't connect and then it looks messy.
Lineart is what I struggle with.
And I don't think i'll be colouring any time soon because filling in the base takes way to long.
Do you have any tips on filling in the lines with paint? And linearting good?
I use mangastudio 5 gpen for my lineart.

I use Paint Tool SAI so I can't help you if you're using Manga Studio since I'm not familiar with the software. I found this tutorial for lineart in Manga Studio though, it might help: http://www.deviantart.com/art/LineArt-T ... -255822422

But in all honestly, just keep drawing in order to improve your lineart. Filling in base colors will be easier if your lineart is good otherwise you'll be spending too much time coloring and erasing. Lineart is still essentially drawing and if you're planning to draw in anime style clean lines are something you're always going to have to practice. No matter what digital drawing software you have, it doesn't mean much if you can't trace over your own drawings neatly.

And again, Google, Google, Google tutorials.

I've been practicing drawing from reference all my drawings I will post in my personal art thread, but i'll post here once and a while.
Very true, Inking is a pain but worth it.
I'll go check out that tutorial! thanks.
