I've been enjoying designing witches recently :3

A 'master study' of sorts: I really liked the techniques that Auro and Rinslettuce used for The Blind Griffin's characters, so I did this quick test to see if I could steal some. I find that you notice and appreciate some things only when you try to copy them, such as the importance of line weight and that nice rim light. I think it turned out okay?

Today's studies.
After painting so many beige people it's very challenging and rewarding to tackle on something else at last.

Hey! I've been gone for a while and have barely drawn at all. So now that I'm slowly starting to draw again, and starting to get back to feeling like myself I thought I'd start trying to be a bit more active on here again. Probably won't be that much though, since I also started another project with a gaming channel on youtube, so that's my main focus at this point

And so- Tada! A character I came up with! She came about as a character for a cyberpunk manga-idea, though as my life is right now, I'll have to come to terms with the fact that it might never actually happen... Still, it's fun to think up plot, characters and their relations etc.! Also, I don't really know how to draw building and city settings, making it kinda hard to actually draw a cyberpunk manga XD I can still dream tho! I might keep the idea in my mind for some day I could realize it, or try intensively forcing myself to learn drawing cities.

Anyway, this is Annika, she's from somewhere around Eastern Europe, and is the current resistance leader. She was raised in an orphanage until she ended up as a child sex slave. She joined the resistance shortly after being rescued by them. She's lost her right ear and leg, which have been replaced by robotics.

(Sorry for the bad picture quality, I might have taken the picture from an angle if the proportions seem a little off )

@Auro Cyanide: That looks great! Boobs are hard to draw, I have trouble with waists as well. But the girl with the glasses looks cute and happy, kind of nerdy, but I like her design.

I still am not sure how to use watercolor brushes in MS5 the way I used them in SAI, but I'm still pretty much transferred over to Manga Studio

I'm trying to get back into the same kind of anime cg I was doing in 2014... It's hard with this semester's schedule, I don't have uninterrupted time to sit down and work on a piece for hours at a time ._.

So, I've been trying to make a logo for a VN I'm working on...
Yeah, I don't really know how to make logos, but I tried really hard with this one :´D
What do you guys think?

It looks okay. I like the choice of typeface at least.

I think you could try other color schemes aside from red and black. It's probably because of the striped pattern, but I keep having a Nightmare Before Christmas feel from it. Also I think the logo might look better without all that volume from the embossing effect or maybe lessening it?

I think it looks fine... maybe a little too embossed, like MaiMai suggested, but looks good... The red gradient behind the logo is kind of distracting, though and makes it hard to read the partly red letters
