Hoyuu No, I don't think they clash. The textbox does look a little bit different because it doesn't have rounded angles like the screens do and because of the cityscape background that I don't see used anywhere else, maybe you could make it a bit more subtle, that'll probably help text readability as well.

I love the array of expressions and the arm movements!
