DAZ Studio 4.5 Pro

Photoimpact X3

Painter Essentials 4

It's hard to pick one. They all do something very specific.

Photoshop and Sai are all I have ever known!
I don't really think I can pick a favourite out of the two though! I find Sai has much cleaner lines, but I prefer colouring using photoshop by far.

SAI and Photoshop! I usually do lines and color on SAI then editing, effects and text on Photoshop. :D

I enjoy using Blender. Also, I found Sculptris very fun and easy to use, though it doesn't seem like a lot of people here do 3D modeling beyond SketchUp. I use Photoshop quite a bit too, but I don't enjoy the process as much as I do with Blender for some reason.

I only really use Painter, and a little touch here and there of OpenCanvas (because there are a few things that Painter simply refuses to do for me). xD

That is for 2D art, for 3D I use Blender, SketchUp and ZBrush.

I love Photoshop, and Open canvas mostly. I don't have much luck with the other programs. I only use Gimp if I have to since I like Photoshop better. I think I have Photoshop C6 now XD I want to try 3d programs soon

Sculptris is awesome! I really tried to understand Blender, but I found it very hard. :/

Ah, it is a little intimidating initially. When I first opened it, I played around a bit and then didn't use it again for two months. There's a lot of tutorials out there now for it. BlenderCookie has some good ones apparently, but it's been a while since I looked into any beginner stuff. Don't give up!

I like messing around with various programs. My favorites have to be Photoshop, and Sketchbook Pro for digital art, Flash and Pencil for animating, Paint.Net for pixel art, and Maya for 3D.

SAI, definitely. :) It's clean, crisp and fast. Photoshop really lags a lot - I still use it when I need some gaussian blur, though, and for resizing images because SAI's resizing is really bad (bilinear anyone?).

Yay! Another Maya user! :D For 3D, I use Maya too, but I'm also learning to use ZBrush and Mudbox. :D

I basically do everything on Sketchbook Pro. But if i want to go all fancy and add effects, then yeah... CS6.
