Oh man, my stylistic influence is hilariously obvious whenever I try to draw a ~sexy person. If I could have anyone's style it would be Ayami Kojima (she does the art for Castlevania.) And I give people pointy ears and huge noses as much as possible. I almost never draw people with soft features.
I used to draw exclusively anime but now I draw a lot more from American webcomics and my own attempts at realism. My anime style preferences are josei and surreal works, so stuff like Vampire Hunter D, Hellsing, Paprika, etc. I tend to stay away from clamp-y shoujo styles.

My artistic goal is to show more detail with fewer lines, and currently I'm working on putting more passion into my work. I'm not terrible at anatomy any more, but I've been so focused on it as to lose some of the emotion my pictures used to have.
My biggest challenge right now is coloring!!! figuring out light sources makes me want to crawl under a rock and stay there.
Eventually I want to be able to do stuff on the computer that doesn't require any lineart.

- Describe your style in one word. Cute? Sophisticated? Unique?

GROTESQUE. No, seriously, I actually have a hard time drawing and painting pretty things, most of my characters are ugly psycho-faced weirdos, if not terrifying monsters.

- Which hemisphere do you feel like you take most inspiration from? Eastern, Western, a smattering of both...?

I have a lot of manga influence, BUT I got sure to take a lot of things from other countries. These last years I got inspired by some US artists, but I've had a LOT of influence from European and Latin American artists (Juan Gimenez, Milo Manara, Moebius) which toned down most of my mangaish-things. Also, I try to drink from artists I see on the Internet (Yuumei, Hellobaby and such).

- What are your favourite features to incorporate into a character design?

I usually draw simple clothes, pretty somber designs unless I make an effort to get "exotic". I make most of my characters redheads and with black hair, for some reason. I also tend to make a lot of characters somehow muscular.

- Who are your greatest stylistic influences? Do you think it's noticeable?

I don't know, really. I think I'm right now in a middle point where it looks like I've about to find my own style, but still have a LOT of "this looks like" details here and there.

- Ideally, your style would be ___?

Original, easy to recognise. With a good technique and impactful enough to make a lot of different things.

- Describe your style in one word. Cute? Sophisticated? Unique?
Unique would definitely be the word for my art...since I never really learned how to properly ink artwork, and since I'm a programmer/writer/artist who can't afford to spend too much time cleaning things up, what I draw tends to have a hand drawn/hand painted look to it, despite being produced entirely in Sketchbook Pro and Photoshop.

- Which hemisphere do you feel like you take most inspiration from? Eastern, Western, a smattering of both...?
Definitely, I'm inspired by shoujo manga when it comes to characters, but when I'm doing things like background or logo art, there might be kind of a modern/pop art influence there.

- What are your favourite features to incorporate into a character design?
Don't know why, but I think I default to drawing glasses on characters, and I just have to talk myself out of drawing them sometimes, or all my characters would be meganes.

- Who are your greatest stylistic influences? Do you think it's noticeable?
My biggest influences are probably Kōsuke Fujishima, Clamp, and Bisco Hatori. Whether or not it's noticeable...as different as my artwork is, maybe a little bit? My characters tend to have non-shiny eyes, which I think I got from XXX Holic.

- Ideally, your style would be ___?
Ideally, my style would be a little more consistent and a lot cleaner! I think my own quick and dirty "hand drawn" style is starting to grow on me though.

I don't think I can describe my style in one word. It has been described by others as cute, so I'll go with that! I wish it was more varied and a bit more loose (in a cartoony way) as most of my drawings seem to be stiff.

My way of drawing is definitely starting to pick up some western influences, but a large part of my drawing stems from anime/manga. The first time I started drawing is when I first saw Yusuke Nakano's official artwork for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Akira Himekawa's OoT manga. The same time, I got into CLAMP's work of Card Captor Sakura and Ken Sugimori's work with Pokemon Yellow. Now I feel like I was influenced by some weird hybrid of all of them, haha.

With character design...I am all about clothing and color coordination! Recently I've been trying to focus on interesting character silhouettes. I've been having more fun designing characters because of that too.

- Describe your style in one word. Cute? Sophisticated? Unique?
Shoujo. I strayed away from anime and moved to manga and still am, mostly because I love detailed work and manga is detailed. Well, some of them anyways.

- Which hemisphere do you feel like you take most inspiration from? Eastern, Western, a smattering of both...?
I actually try and take some from both, but it's more Eastern-oriented since I started with anime and manga. I draw some muscles from time to time so you could say a bit Western as well.

- What are your favourite features to incorporate into a character design?
Skirts/dresses, cardigans, boots, long/short hairstyles that are unique/interesting, anything flowy like a long ribbon, big eyes and achromatic colors. Just anything interesting really.

- Who are your greatest stylistic influences? Do you think it's noticeable?
Yoko Maki, and a bit of Kazuki Yone and freaking Satoi. I actually first started out with just copying anime back in 4th grade and I started to deviate from copying during 6th grade. High school was when I started drawing originals and even creating my own characters. I did a comic back then but I lost it. My art back then and even now was mostly from Arina Tanemura but then I looked at it and saw how the eyes are really creepy. I also started trying realistic drawings to study a bit on anatomy and well, my art right now was mostly derived from Yoko Maki's (before Romantica Clock) and now, it looks like my own... Hopefully?

- Ideally, your style would be ___?
Tbh, I just want my style to be something that's mine and one that doesn't look like either of the above artists'. That and I just want it to be something I'm happy and comfortable with. I'd also like my art to be consistent, there are times when it looks different.

Everyone has their own artstyle, because of this I can't judge whether someone's artwork is smexy or just.... pass.... as long as it's intentional (like drawing the thumbs 3 times bigger, but everyone's not bothered with it) or they pretend to.

Okay, let's get to the questions:
- Describe your style in one word. Cute? Sophisticated? Unique?
Persona-like, that's what my friends always told me. As for me, I wish my artstyle can be more futuristic.

- Which hemisphere do you feel like you take most inspiration from? Eastern, Western, a smattering of both...?
By the looks of it, people will agree more if I say Eastern. But you should see how I drew for my college assignment. Near-death(line) experience can get your true style arise.

- What are your favourite features to incorporate into a character design?
Eyes, gestures, fashion (jackets or mantles, leather boots). The idea is to exaggerate character traits visually.

- Who are your greatest stylistic influences? Do you think it's noticeable?
Shigenori Soejima, can't deny.

- Ideally, your style would be ___?
Something new of course. It's identity for us, artist. But lately, I saw concept art for APB reloaded. Love the sketchy rough graffiti-looking painting.

Not sure who did the earlier Puzzle Bobble/Bust a Move games

Describe your style in one word. Cute? Sophisticated? Unique?
Amateurish.
I have different styles which I love to use, but most of them just lack the commercial value, so this probably summarises it best.

Which hemisphere do you feel like you take most inspiration from? Eastern, Western, a smattering of both...? Who are your greatest stylistic influences? Do you think it's noticeable?
Probably both?
I started with Manga, but since I got more open deviantArt is my biggest influence, and there you can find both.
However, I never really liked the division--I mean, there are a lot of people from the East who draw really realistic, while we normally either mean traditional art or manga when we talk about them. In times like these, art styles are so mixed in the world that it's hard to separate.
As for influences--there are so many, I don't even know anymore. D:
I change them so often, and then come back, and then forget again. My references folder is about to burst and I always find more artists, depending on what I search for.

What are your favourite features to incorporate into a character design?
* High, defined cheekbones. <3
Image
* When using watercoloury style: extreme blush! (And blue around the eyes.)
Image
* Light eyes--I love seeing the pupil. (Though I'm trying to get used to brown too.)
Image
I also like pale skin a lot, though I find darker one easier to paint (and thus have more fun). I also noticed that a lot of my characters have really light lashes.
I'm not much one for diversity, I'm afraid, though I like seeing it in other works. As for my characters, I usually just go with what I like to look at.

Ideally, your style would be ___?
Beautiful, I guess?
I don't really strive to find a "new" style like some other people here, since for one, I believe that everything has been done before in some form, and for the other I'm not overly innovative.
I think the most important aspect of style is not only that it's pretty, but fitting--an anime-ish style can be nice too look at, but it doesn't go along with every kind of story. It's the same with realistic ones--some are just too stiff for certain stories.
Thus I want to have styles that express what I want to say. No need to settle for one only.

- Describe your style in one word. Cute? Sophisticated? Unique?
Simply detailed.
It's hard to explain, my artwork is often quite simplistic, but it has certain details to find.
And my style changes, depending on the piece I work on (I can go from disturbingly dark to sugary cute)

- Which hemisphere do you feel like you take most inspiration from? Eastern, Western, a smattering of both...?
Eastern comic style and western modern art.
I enjoy the anime style a lot and use it often. But I also like the strong symbolism of western modern art, so I often play around with using specific colors, shapes or objects in the background to give off something.

- What are your favourite features to incorporate into a character design?
Glowing eyes (they usually seem to glow due to the coloration), floating hair, clear expressions

- Who are your greatest stylistic influences? Do you think it's noticeable?
I lost my influences track long ago.
When I was 14, I followed the track of Miki Kiratani and Natsuki Takaya regarding art. When I was around 17, I tried to orientate my stories on how Naono Bohra made her mangas.
But I take my inspiration from everywhere and nowhere right now. I see something, it sparks my interest, I use it. There is no artist that I could pin my finger on right now.

- Ideally, your style would be ___?
Extraordinairy and naturalistic.
I would love to combine the comic style with the naturalistic style (which I tried regulary through coloring), I also want to be even more detailed.
I also want to work more on postures, as they sometimes still seem weird when I accidentily get the proportions wrong.

- Describe your style in one word. Cute? Sophisticated? Unique?
Bold, I guess? Though I don't think it's in a terribly skillful manner. Oh, and garish! I love crazy bright colors.

- Which hemisphere do you feel like you take most inspiration from? Eastern, Western, a smattering of both...?
Definitely Eastern.

- What are your favourite features to incorporate into a character design?
I've got a crutch of drawing very similar parts and slopes to haircuts. I need to break that.

- Who are your greatest stylistic influences? Do you think it's noticeable?
Toshihiro Ono, though I admit that I haven't read his racier stuff. I'm still trying to capture the way he weights his lines.

- Ideally, your style would be ___?
More technical. I've got a long way to go, anatomically.

- Describe your style in one word. Cute? Sophisticated? Unique?
Simple. I think that thats the only word that can describe my style.
- Which hemisphere do you feel like you take most inspiration from? Eastern, Western, a smattering of both...?
I have trouble picking one since i get my inspiration from everywhere and nowhere so im going to say both.
- What are your favourite features to incorporate into a character design?
I always want my characters to be unique yet not too hard to draw so i always give them atleast one thing that stands out compared to the others, for example my oc that you can see in my avatar.
- Who are your greatest stylistic influences? Do you think it's noticeable?
The vocaloid PV artist Shidu, something about his art just caught my eye but i have yet to find out why i like it so much. I dont think its too noticable but i think that if you look realy hard that you'll see it.
- Ideally, your style would be ___?
I would love to be able to draw detailed drawings one day or atleast to be able to draw better and advanced clothing designs for my characters. I also need to get better at drawing backgrounds but for now im happy the way i draw.

- Describe your style in one word. Cute? Sophisticated? Unique?
Questionable. I love the mix of perfection in inperfection a lot. It's like showing people something that looks wrong, but you can't see why it's wrong, because the intention was right. I don't know if that makes sense, especially in a visual novel community where precision is probably for the better in the art in the games.

Which hemisphere do you feel like you take most inspiration from? Eastern, Western, a smattering of both...?
Both. Ever since I met comic artists who took the best of both worlds, my world changed too. But I'd probably lean towards Eastern, due to the fact that I read a crapwad of manga and watch a bit of anime in that too.

- What are your favorite features to incorporate into a character design?
My 'style', of course! I design it the way I want, I draw it the way I want. That's why it's my favorite ^_^
My style is often very dark. I love shadows, and the ability to imply details that aren't there with shadows.

- Who are your greatest stylistic influences? Do you think it's noticeable?
I am incredibly super duper flexible and it's incredibly obvious who my art influences are when I draw a specific way. As something I should clarify, any artist does not have to stick with one 'style' the rest of their life. For me, I waver between whatever I read and watch. Stylistically, I would say Tsutomu Nihei has been a super influence on me. Another one that's been growing on me lately is Kokuzawa Yousuke, for those insane fight scenes (I'm a comic artist). But if you look at my visual-novel-in-progress, you can totally see that Mike Mignola really played a huge part in the background shading.

- Ideally, your style would be ___?
Awesome. I mean, ideally speaking...
