Shading help?

#1 Post by Rinima » Fri Dec 20, 2013 6:36 pm

Does anyone know any good shading help things out there on soft shading that are easy to follow?
I want to do some with this, but can't ;~;

Did you look in the art tutorial resources thread? I noticed there was at least one link to a tutorial on shading on there.
A Close Shave:
*Last Thing Done (Aug 17): Finished coding emotions and camera for 4/10 main labels.
*Currently Doing: Coding of emotions and camera for the labels--On 5/10
*First Next thing to do: Code in all CG and special animation stuff
*Next Next thing to do: Set up film animation
*Other Thing to Do: Do SFX and Score (maybe think about eye blinks?)

You can also search for tutorials on Deviantart. There's a whole ton of them.

Ah!
I've suddenly remembered why I asked on here rather than looking though the other thread.
I've noticed there all based around how to pick colour.
That's not what I'm asking.
I'm asking -how- do you shade, like the technique (not sure if I'm making an awful lot of sense here...).
*waves hands* I'm sure I'll find the tut on it one day!
