Hello, I posted some time ago about help in coloring bg. Thanks to Destiny, I have learned more about shading and light effects. However, I was wondering if anyone could color this line art bg for coloring reference. I have searched tutorial sites online, and looked at background pictures for reference, however I specifically want this bg line art colored in a way that it can be used for a vn. (I'm not going to use it for any vn project, just for learning). Also may you tell me the software you used and some tips on how you colored them thanks.
Thanks, here is the picture

Re: Coloring this Bg for reference help
OK, this stinks something terrible...
But I mainly wanted to roughly show were the lighting is, since that's the most difficult part...
For the record, I only spent like, 15 minutes on it, so that's why it's so ugly.
XD
But I hope it helps.^^
*BTW, you have it set to greyscale, that's why their's no color.*

Re: Coloring this Bg for reference help
Hi there.
I did a really fast basic coloring and i hope it may help you out.
First angeliza pic is a really good base since it shows you a possilbe way to set the light in your pic. I'm using the window as the light source as well.
First do a base color. You don't need to be sure about the color right know, Just fill the areas
Then think about the lightning and shadows an try to put them into your pic
Then you can play around, add some sfx into your pic etc.
If you have any question, please feel free to ask me^^ Right knwo I'm a bit too sleepy to explain it in detail *gomen
Besides, I was using this pic a a color reference (http://www.fantasticviewpoint.com/wp-co ... Design.jpg)
Sometimes it may hel you to look around the internet to find a nice color scheme for you picture^^
