1.
Figure Drawing for All It's Worth by Andrew Loomis (although you can download this and his other books online.
2.
Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist by Stephen Rogers Peck
and the most useful, but succinct book on basic figure drawing while covering human anatomy is this one I've kept ever since I got it for my first life drawing class.
3.
The Figure by Walt Reed

MaiMai's suggestions are great, but if you want something more simple (and still effective):
http://www.amazon.com/Anatomy-Fantasy-A ... 1438001983
Anatomy for Fantasy Artists. It's VERY good stuff.

^ Stephen Rogers Peck and Andrew Loomis are excellent.
I'd also like to recommend George Bridgman, especially if you want to learn how to draw from your imagination. His
Constructive Anatomy, in particular.

Michael Hampton's book works for the way my brain works. But Parka Blogs is a great resource to see what's inside some great art books too.
