BG lineart help

Guys,
I've been trying this tutorial for 4th time now and it doesn't work, but everyone else loved it.
Can u test it out and see if it works for you or at least explain it a bit better to me.

Can you tell me where you are having trouble?
I just did this tutorial and I'll post my results tomorrow.
You need to have a very high quality picture if you want a good looking result.

well the image in that tutorial looks like a filtered photo not a drawing. if you play with random filters in photoshop you'll eventually find a combination that looks almost the way you want.
you can jump from step one to the last two steps and still get the same result by adding some contrast to the mix. but remember the most important thing is the last touches you apply with a brush not all of those color corrections.
