hi so i'm looking for an bg artist. what i have in mind is a bit complicated. i'm planning on making a commercial game. i don't mean to offend anyone if i say what i'm about to say, but i was actually hoping to in a sense copy a background by outlining it myself. i'm no good at drawing and i don't have the funds to pay for an artist at the moment so if anyone is willing, please pm me. it can be a crappy sketch or something nice. of course you don't have to. i know what i'm asking for is really weird.

I'm not really following exactly what you want.

Do you want somebody to draw something for you which you then trace over and redraw yourself, or are you asking for somebody to draw something based on some lineart you make yourself?

Basically something that's been made and the artist has no use for then i would trace over it. But I feel like that can be offensive in some ways since it might be considered plagiarism to the artist

If it's a background, you could try tracing an image from google(, or just throw it into Photosketch). As long as you don't see a watermark, it's usually not a copyrighted image and even if it is a visit to the site helps. Unless it's a non-realistic background from a fantasy setting or something, that should work.

Uncle Mugen already shared tons of his awesome 3D renders here (mostly school-related ones) that you can outline yourself and turned them into 2D drawings.

Yeah i love uncle mugen's work tbh but i'm in need of castle style interiors too.
