I'm looking for a program that allows me to do the following simply and without any hassle. Basically I don't want to have to master a program just to do something relatively simple.
1. Add and edit 3D shapes
1a. I want to make a circular room
2. Add my own textures to those shapes
3. Move the camera into various views.
4. Maybe even a way to turn the interior of the room into a 360 panorama.
I'd also like it to be free, or at least have a way to try it before buying.
It feels like there should be a program like what I described, but I'm having a hard time finding it. Maybe I'm just blind.
Either way, anyone have any suggestions? I tried Blender, but I got quickly confused and overwhelmed. (I could just be an idiot, but it feels unintuitive to me.)
Thanks.

DAZ 3d is free.
Some of my visual novels are at http://www.the-new-lagoon.com. They are NSFW
Poorly done hand-drawn art is still poorly done art. Be a Poser (or better yet, use DAZ Studio 3D) - dare to be different.

Google Sketchup is free and very easy to learn. It also has a lot of free assets in its 3d Warehouse.

Blender can indeed do all those things, though indeed it can be tricky for beginners, especially texturing. Still, I teach elementary school students Blender, so anyone can learn it if they keep at it.
