Looking For Critique On My Style

Okay, I have been thinking on this for a long. time. As in, two years. I've been thinking on this for two years.

I have an idea for a rock-focused dating sim, and I myself have an interest in pixel art. I've had this basis for the style, but I'm not 100% sure if it's visually appealing to others.

Any critique or advice is extremely welcome, as now that I have loads of time on my hands, I would love to get something done and share it with the community.

I like the style itself, I think it looks nice and I'd be interested in a game with this style. The character design is a bit boring, but that could easily be fixed by just putting him in a more interesting shirt with a graphic or pattern.

I agree with Zelan, the style itself is appealing and I would love to play with this kind of art, but the design needs tweaking. I would also do some work with the anatomy and perspective: for example the pose is on 3/4 angle, but the shirt is drawn like the character is facing forwards.

The art is good! And i'll advice to put more shading on those pixelized colors, depending on the angle of the shadow makes sense.
