Is there any free for used 2D background around for click and navigate game?

If it is not too much a trouble.

I would like to ask if there is any free to used 2D background around? I know that Uncle Mugen posted lots of 3D Backgrounds in this forums and they are great.

However, I wanted to create a click and navigate kind of game, whereby say, you are in the living room, and you click one of the door to go into the bedroom. etc.

The reason I wanted this is to use it for a test, before my actual game to see if my codes work, as I'm a one man team.

There are a lot of background resources besides Uncle Mugen's in the creative commons section. If you're trying to code point-and-click elements with those backgrounds, though, I think you might need the background to be split into separate images for it to work. Not sure though.

If you're just using it to test your code, the 3d backgrounds should work just fine, shouldn't they? It doesn't matter what they look like to determine if they're interacting with the code correctly.

With that said, there are def some 2D resources in same board as uncle myugen's stuff, but I don't think any of them are highly detailed interiors that interconnect like you might want. Best bet might be grabbing photos off the web and slapping filters on them.
