In my game I currently have 9 characters. I'm using layeredimages for each of them and they look great! The problem I'm having is figuring out how to most efficiently get my sprites out of my drawing program into their own individually-cropped .PNGs.
Right now my process is to draw the sprites in one big canvas in Clip Studio Paint. I then save it as a .PSD and open that in Photoshop. From there I create slices for each sprite. Then I export the sprites using File -> Export -> Layers to Files.
This is what my sprite document and layer structure look like:

So, doing it like this does export my sprites exactly how I need them to be...
...But this is a bit of an arduous process! Clip Studio does not support slices so I have to remake them every time. This gets especially tiring when I only need to export one new mouth sprite and I have to precisely redraw the slice so it lines up with the previously-exported sprites.
So! How do you, layeredimage users of these forums, get your sprites exported and into Ren'Py?
