So, of course, most of the projects we talk about on here are running on a shoestring budget. This website that I found would really only be helpful to a project that has a much more significant budget. Along with your original score, there might be instances where you might want to use some licensed music.
www.musicbed.com has lots of great music from different genres. Your not gonna find anything from big-name artists, but what you do find can be licenced for relatively cheaply. The price varies a lot based on a number of different factors, but here is an example.
If the project is a video game, the song will be used in-game, it's for PC/Console, and the budget is between $0 - $5K, then the price for one song is $49.00.
So it's a little pricey but it's a steal if you have a decent budget and find some songs that match your project.
