I tried to run Shoujo Attack in Wine (the windows emulation for GNU/Linux and other OSes).
First I got the very helpful dialog saying "Cannot load the font". If it mentioned what font is missing it would be much better, wouldn't it?
Anyway, I noticed there is VILLAGE.TTF so I copied it to village.ttf, and the dialog went away.
Note that even Windows can do case sensitive filesystems so it is better to name your files right.
Now wine crashes when I run Shouko Attack. Oh well.
Shoujo Attack is a nice game but I guess I won't reboot just to play it. It would be nice if it worked on other systems than Windows. After all, Allegro should be crossplatform.
