Application?

Hello, I'm having trouble running any of the games that i've downloaded. Is there some sort of application I have to download for the games to run on? Because once I've extracted the file and say for the game to run...nothing happens.

Are you on Windows, Linux, Mac?... Which file are you launching?

Hmmmmmm like to help, but there isn't enough info on what programs you've tried to download. Is it a game? Ren'py? Without knowing what isn't working, not sure how we can help.
